Galway Bay U18.5s face one of their biggest tests of the season on Sunday morning when they welcome Loughrea to Dangan for a Connacht Cup quarter-final showdown.

Knockout rugby always brings an extra edge, but there is a little more on the line for this Galway Bay side. After more than a decade playing together, this group are coming towards the end of a special journey in club colours. Many of them will hope to continue that journey with University of Galway U20s, but first they have the chance to write another memorable chapter with Galway Bay Rugby.

This one looks set to be a real test of character. Loughrea will come in knowing this a tough task, Galway Bay have already shown they are capable of producing big performances when needed, they will believe they can make life very uncomfortable for the visitors.
