Galway Bay Rugby Club Welcomes Kingston Park Community Centre Plans

Exciting news for our club and community – Galway City Council have today published advanced plans for the new Kingston Park Community Centre, which will become a home for Galway Bay Rugby Club as well as other sporting and community groups.

A Milestone for the Club

We are truly delighted with the beautiful design and site layout. Kingston Park promises to be more than just a facility – it will be the beating heart of our club for generations to come, offering a dedicated home and a space to grow rugby and community spirit together in Knocknacarra.

Community Engagement

We encourage all members, families and friends to take part in shaping this exciting development. Please visit kingstonparkmillerslane.com to view full details and complete the short community survey.

There will also be a Public Consultation Event in the Clybaun Hotel on Wednesday, 10th September from 1pm to 10pm. This is a chance to meet the project team, ask questions, and share your views.

Thank You

We are incredibly grateful to Galway City Council, as well as MKO, Quinn Architects, and Dave Ryan Landscape Architects for their vision, hard work and support in bringing this project to life. This is a major step forward for our club and for the wider community in Galway.

We look forward to working together as this journey continues, ensuring Kingston Park becomes a proud home for rugby, sport and community life in Knocknacarra. 🌊🏉
